Welcome to Training Men For Christ. This first episode introduces the podcast and shows clearly why there is a lack of strong men in local Bible believing churches. Why does that matter and why is it necessary to change that biblically?

Going back to the biblical way of discipleship.

The body of Christ is greatly lacking a next generation that is being trained — not only to become preachers, but also to serve in the local church. This ministry and its accompanying podcast aim to highlight both the necessity and the biblical method of training men for Christ.

This takes time. Believers need to learn and grow in Christ, follow a man of God as he follows Christ, share the gospel with others, and serve in a Bible-believing church. God is not concerned with academic seminaries; He is calling people with the right heart—people who demonstrate faithfulness.

Elisha followed Elijah, Timothy followed Paul, and the apostles followed Jesus Christ. We are actively putting this biblical principle into practice again.

2Tim. 2:2: And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
